A photobook published for the exhibition “NEROLI” held at Taka Ishii Gallery in 2016. A yellow cloth is selected for the cover from the impression of the words “Neroli (an oil made from the flowers of a bitter orange tree)” and the dialogue with the artist. In order to embody the delicate impression of Yoshino’s works, such as carefully spinning the ephemeral and irreplaceable moments around us, a thin ground paper in adopted on the spine. And the layflat perfect binding with a round spine without a squeeze generates delicate curves and a clean appearance. For the text paper, we created a paper with a thin and light matte texture but has printing characteristics similar to those of finely coated paper.
